In 1997, Daylin attended the Canadian Elvis Convention and was named the “1997 Canadian National Elvis Tribute Artist Grand Champion” in the professional division. He also placed the highest score overall between the Canadian and International artists. The judges were: DONNA PRESLEY EARLY (the daughter of Elvis’ beloved aunt “Nash”, D.J. FONTANA (Elvis’s original drummer) and THE JORDANAIRES (original back up singers for Elvis).
Daylin later performed at the CNE in Toronto, the Canadian morning talk show – “Canada A.M., the 1997 Elvis Clambake at Wassaga Beach, Ontario, and spent 4 months in Japan. He is currently subcontracted out by “Legends in Concert” and various high quality top name tribute shows and productions.
